I went to a fabric /upholstery store and bought plastic upholstery for a
background..its mat surfaced, can be rinsed off and you just roll
it...Its stiff enough so that you can get a graceful curl, and it is
inexpensive and never wrinkles...I think I paid about $6 for a yard that
was 54" wide..its like naugahyde,a fake leathery surface.
