thanks barney.
i never take my controls off my kiln...and my kiln is in
a small building that gets maybe -28f in the winter.

things work just fine.
oxyprobe is very happy.

but, i keep water, rain, moisture away from my kilns.

however, the farm is different.
the wood fired kiln (train) just sits out in the open like a naked
lady.
but, she dries well, and fires like a dream when we need her.

no electronics.

she is a pile of bricks waiting to be fired. wood is stacked near.
we cover the wood.
