Gary,
Most recipes are not in the cone 4 range. However I would suggest that
your friend use her cone 4 transparent glaze and add 00.25% Copper
carbonate for a light green color, or 00.50% copper carbonate , 00.20 black
stain for a darker green. However, if she does not have one here are two
recipes she might try.

Emmanuel Cooper cone 2 to cone 5

Clear Transparent Glaze

Nepheline Syenite 40
Whiting l5
Zinc oxide 10
Kaolin 5
Flint 30


G181 Transparent Gloss J>W>Conrad cone 4 to 6

Soda felspar 59.62
E.P. Kaolin 13.8l
Flint 12.04
Whiting 8.00
Zinc oxide 6.53
