Dear Kathleen,
I would need to know more about your firing schedule, in particular I =
would like to have a look at the cooling curve.
Without more information and getting the calculator out I would suspect =
that you have incipient devitrification and that some of the =
wollastonite is crystallising. If this is the case, you will need to =
increase the rate of cooling down to about 750 deg Celsius then hold for =
a while before doing the slow cool through the Quartz time barriers.
