Hi, Anji.

Slow down the CI wheel by installing a governor in the foot pedal. I don't
remember what their foot pedals look like (I have a Brent), but all you need
is some kind of solid bump on the far side to keep the pedal from going down
all the way. Heck, duct tape something on there. Maybe a fishing weight with
the wedge-shaped cut-out they sometimes have? That one's a pretty easy fix.
But someone else may come up with a better idea, so keep listening. At
least, if they do, you can always peel off the duct tape.

So, why is duct tape like the Force?

It's got a dark side, a light side, and it holds the universe together.

You're right. CI wheels are really, really fast. I don't know if the Shimpos
can be speeded up. Hope someone comes up with a simple solution for that one
for you. But the kids can learn to throw slower. It's better than those
one-speed wonders so many schools end up with.

Ummmm ok The studio where I teach has a hand full of
shimpo's and a couple Brents and one Creative
Indrustry.. The Brent I can handle .. But the shimpo's
are too slow and no one uses them and the kids start
arguments as to who gets the brents.. And the CI is
too fast .. It is so fast that I am afraid I am going
to loose one of the kids or at least there arm or
something out of the window which I may add is almost
a sky light about 11 feet up the wall...

How do I slow down the CI and speed up the Shimpos?? I
am hoping it is as easy as the Brent (which is just
fine speed wise) ...

TIA,
Anji
