nerds.

i have used special arrows and cursors for years.
i am a freak for them. i change appearance colors once a week.
have camo up now....in honor of hunting season.
(am working on an entire blaze orange scheme for deer season)

my blinking cursors have always been black, and now
at the farm they just turned to white.
so, maybe that is what i get.

could be the screen, whatever.
will change them to a bigger size i quess.
i have been a tucows.com viewer for years.

so, thanks all of you.
i bought a sony trinatron big screen for home, may have
to do that at the farm.

for those interested, i use a roamer number to get pclink
from the farm and the laptop. dsl would be great, but
that sticks me at home..so, i think for now will just stick
to my buddies at pclink and, i can call them all by first name..
know them. they have helped a great deal getting me going
with clayart. none of you want an address change from me now.

i have one of the great tools of all computer nerds....windows, both
95 and 98 on floppies. the first disc is a boot disc. have brought
back to life many a corrupted computer. re.format/start the boot
disc. my imation super disc sticks into any parallel port. it takes
both floppies and super floppies.
i have also been taking apart computers and rebuilding them....
i know, i know, make pots, but, damn this is fun. (got my latest
laptop from a garbage can, now works like new.)

My wife thinks I should spend more time at the wheel making
pots and less time at the computer talking pots. To this
end I found a not on the edge of my computer screen
"Instead of sitting here at the computer, you could be
making pots!"
( I noticed it the second day it was there.....)
Last night I turned on the computer after 4 hours at the
city ceramics lab and found that she had changed the desk
top on my computer.
It now has a picture of my kiln on it, door open,
empty........
