I recommend reward velvet underglaze. But apply to unfired glaze,
like watercolor, then fire.
They are easy to paint with and the colors blend fairly true.
use the jet black, not the velvet black, the velvet black casts blue.
The reds fire fine up to cone 8 in my experience. I don't fire higher.
