Dear Clayarters,
On the subject of Israel and their contributions to the art world, I
recently met a jeweler who split her residence between Israel and the US.
Over there, the archeologists find many relics pertaining to their past up
to 2000 years ago. Most of these go into the museums but there are many
left over shards of ancient glass which they give to artists with which to
work . She designs the most exquisite pieces based on the shape of the
shard and adds her own talent and artistry to make gold and silver jewelry
