Sarah House on mon 23 oct 00
I am offering an invitation to anyone who would like a place to stay
BEFORE NCECA if you are planning to see the sights on the way in. I live
about 30 minutes from Penland School and it's surrounding artists, about
one hour from Asheville, and 2.5 hours from the confrence in charlotte.
Without seeing the actual schedule, i think i will be going down on
wednesday morning, so this invitation is open for monday and tuesday
nights.
I can offer two double beds, two couches, lots of floor space, and
unlimited camping.

HI Rikki,
Wish I was Sarah House, but I am simply Sara O'Neill, 3 hours away from
Charlotte and another 2 away from Penland. HOw many days do you get a
communication from 2 Sara's??? I am in awe of your wonderful clay work from
a visit to your Berekley site.
I can answer your logistics question anyway. You can fly into Charlotte
Douglass airport. There should be easy transport to the NCECA site. HAving
never gone to NCECA I can't answer how wonderful it is, but I expect the
experience is awesome......

Hi Sarah, . I am very tempted by your invitation . I live in California,
and I am not sure of the logistics. Where would I fly to? How would we get
to Charlotte? And mostly, do you still have room? Do you have a
reservation in a hotel yet? Should I hurry and get one? Sorry to put a
bunch of questions to you cold. I have never gone to NCECA before, so I am
a bit addled. I am really eager to meet all my clayart buddies. Thanks,
