Call me naive, but what is a sand "Zen" garden? Could you post a picture?
Thanks, Kimi

Hi Kimi,
My sand gardens are shallow (1-2" deep) bowls, round, oval, square,
rectangle
vessels with feet. I fill them with white sand but you could use any sand or
small washed
stones.
You need a small rake. I get mine in a garden shop but you can probably get
them
in craft stores. I place a few beautiful stones and rake the sand into
swirls or designs.
It is a miniature Japanese Zen garden.
One person who bought one liked it because I put a lip on the bowl which
keeps the sand
from spilling over the edge.
Once I get my web site up I'll add a photo of one of mine.
Here's a web site with info and photos
http://www.japanesegifts.com/zencreate.htm
I hope you get the idea.
Gayle
