Sorry to have misunderstood your direction. Somehow I gained the notion you
were looking for new directions to take the use of clay in function. The
Bookholdrs work for me, readers love them, I can't patent so malleable an
idea, and why not add them to the repertoire of makers of useful real stuff?
As a portraitist and specialist in archaeological replication (well-marked
as from me!), ie,serious- the identification of clay craft with useless
jokey stuff gets me down ...so I suppose I invented a new role for you.
