Hi we have just repaired and replaced the kiln control box on an older =
L&L kiln. ( The old one burst a fuse and then caught the control box on =
fire) After talking to L&L we replaced the entire box with a new, =
updated ,UL new standard, will not catch on fire again controller =
box.Even had a kiln specialist electrician hard wire it to the service =
for us.
But , the new box seems really loud when the switches cycle. I have =
attempted a bisque and it worked, but the loud switching has me worried. =
I've been firing L&L's for 15 + years without the loud noises... Has =
anyone else had the same experience with their L&L? This one is about 9 =
years old with a 3 week old controller box & Dawson kiln sitter with =
timer. Thanks in advance for the suggestions! -Kathy Chase

Clicking from a kiln can be caused by infinite control switches, which cycle
on and off, and relays. Maybe your new control panel includes these
components.
