I hope this isn't an improper use of Clayart but I have been asked to =
provide the following information:
Phil Rogers will be conducting a two day workshop at:
The Interlaken School of Art,

On the 24th and 25th March 2001.=20
There will be two slide talks. Saturday's talk will set the scene for a =
weekend of making demonstration by taking a look at Phil Rogers' work =
from both his kilns. Sunday's talk will focus on the history of British =
Studio Ceramics from Phil's viewpoint illustrated with pots from his own =
collection that includes Bernard Leach, Hamada, Michael Cardew and many, =
many more from the twenties upto the present time.=20
Phil will be making a selection of forms including squared and ovalled =
bottles, pitchers, yunomi and decorating them by faceting, paddling, =
hakame and drawing. The second day will be taken up with finishing, =
turning ( trimming) handling and further decoration. There will also be =
an opportunity to discuss the use of woodash in glazes.
Those close to or visiting Boston can see an extensive collection of
Phil Rogers' work at the Pucker Gallery in Newbury Street.
