saggar fire,i have made the saggars and will use a gas kiln. My =
questions are, what cone do i fire to ? and what materials do i use to =

Barrie,

We fire to ^010 in our gas kiln. We have put a copper sulphate solution on
the pots, put copper and iron sulphate dry in the saggar. You can wrap copper
wire on the pots, put steel wool pulled thin, use organic stuff like banana
peels, corn husks, sea weed, pine needles and cones, straw and saw dust.
Cocoa mulch seems to help with blacks as done limiting the air flow. People
try sea shells, masking pots with clay, draping them with cheese cloth dipped
in a sulphate solution and filled with combustibles.
