James
I am starting a series of crater glaze and slip tests so just happened to
have the book on my kitchen table. My book says "Deep turquoise glaze with
copper carbonate" and gives the recipe as you have it. It photographs a
nice blue. Please let me know how it turns out.

Dear James L Bowen,
I think this is an editing error on the part of the authors. Usually due =
to poor proof reading. They do give a Barium Blue in the appendix.
Ivor.
