I'd like to thank all of the Clayarters to contributed photos of their work
for publication in The Extruder Book. I am very happy with the way the book
turned out and I'm pleased to report that sales are going very well. If you
don't have a copy yet and you'd like one, it is available directly from The
American Ceramic Society via its website, http://www.acers.org. You can

I have begun working on my next book titled "From Mud To Music". This book
will show how to make a variety of musical instruments from clay. It will
also display finished instruments in a gallery of color photos. I am co-
authoring the book with Mr. Barry Hall. Barry is an accomplished musician
and instrument maker. Photos of his work are in the extruder book. From Mud
To Music will hopefully be out in early 2002.
If you are a maker of ceramic instruments, I would like to hear from you. I
am looking for high-quality slides of finished instruments. Please contact
me at my email address. I will be posting other requests for slides on
Clayart with more instructions but if you contact me now I can explain what
I'm looking for on a one-on-one basis.
