I like a direct plunger, not the kind that you have to =

hook into a notch and pull from and then do it again.
It is hard to use those without "kinks" in the extrusion.

square or round doesn't much matter to me. Barrel =

size will be more relevant. I like a small one =

because it is adequate for my needs and I think =

it is easier to operate and fill.

if you buy one, the "kit" of dies should come included =

in a package price, negotiate for one if it is not =

packed that way. They are expensive later, unless =

you are handy with tools and can make them. Buying one =

that you can make the dies for would be good. =

I only know one person who built it themself =

and says they are happy. They don't extrude much. =

It is a product worth buying pre made and then making dies.

Hope this helps. I bought a Northstar small barreled kit,
after much research and using several types over the years.
I am very happy with it, I use it weekly.
