I will be having my annual studio show and sale on Saturday December 2 and
Sunday December 3, from 1 to 5 pm each day. Those of you in the Atlanta
area are invited to drop in. Please call 770-482-2649 for directions - I'm
near Stone Mountain.
There will be plenty of "seconds" available. My idea of a second consists of:
1)Things with small flaws, such as s-cracks, that are still useful
2)Things with glaze faults, but still useful
3)Things that did not go as planned. No faults, but not what I had in mind.
4)Things with no matching parts - missing lid, last one of a series.
5)Things I have no idea what, if anything, I was thinking when I made or
glazed them.
Seconds are those pots that other potters pounce on, but are not "gift
quality".
