Does anyone have opinions on Thomas Stuart
electric wheels? I am ready to purchase my first
wheel and I have used a good number of different ones.
The Stuart wheel looks solid, but is it user
friendly?
thanks.

I had a Stuart Thomas kick wheel and motorized it with their kit. Very
nice smooth sold wheel.

I haven't actually used one, but I discussed them at some length before starting to
sell them, with Tom Forte himself (of Thomas Stuart) and with other people who sold
and had used them. Everyone agreed that they are excellent, well made wheels. He
uses better parts than most in the motor, etc., so in addition to being very
reliable, it was agreed that you get more power out of them than their hp would
lead you to believe. Also, the removeable wheel head seems useful for cleaning.
Only drawback I noticed is that you don't have a flat surface for your tools. And
a regular sized 1 gallon bucket wouldn't fit into the corners well. But nobody
says you have to use 1 gallon buckets. You can make your own! Or, we sell plastic
buckets that fit in for less than a buck.
