Love Handles starring Peaches la Flame
I mentioned the video to Sheila and she said she wanted a new outfit,
manicure and hair appointment. I guess the video is on hold.
We were going to do a video on my sexual throwing technigues, oops
sectional throwing techniques but now there seems to be an interest in love
handles.
As for a workshop at Necca she says she is going to hear others talk and
demonstrate. A busman's holiday. don't want to work. Just wants to fill her
own cup.
We are doing a number of workshops this year so the handle is going to be
demonstrated. Going to be in Philly in April at Creative Oasis
http://www.thecreativeoasis.com/SP2001%20Workshops/workshop1.html
We are the Potters in Residence at Medalta (Bray of the North) in Medicine
Hat Alberta for the month of June and we are talking with Connie
Christianson in Colorado for August- this one is ????
Sheila started focusing on the handle in April and it has progressed a long
way in a short time. She has also gone into lugs for jars, condiment sets
etc, etc. We will try to get images out as soon as Santa lays off the
demands.
Cheers,
Tony

Wow! Tony and Sheila are coming to my neighborhood...Medicine Hat. I'll
try to get up to see you. The 50th anniversary celebration of the Bray
will be around the time you'll be in Medicine Hat. By our standards,
that makes it next door.
Sounds like a busy summer.
I have Connie Christenson's mug from the clayart room. It is a favorite.
But I think Creative Oasis is in Penn State not Philly -my home town.

Sheila has concented and phoned Sean the son that put our website together.
He is going to make a video of Sheila making handles. Taking a couple of
weeks in Jan to do it. She is preparing a script and Sean will do all the
bells and whistles. For those of you that have visited our website, I think
you can rest assured the two of them will do a top notch job. Mr. Big
Mouth will keep you all posted.
She has about 6 different designs for t-pots in our shop now and jars and
plates coming out of the kiln tomorrow for river cane additions.
thanks to all of you for your kind words and encouragement. Sheila has a
very nice touch with this stuff and I know she will gladly pass it along.
cheers,

Tony,
What great news. I have visited your site several times, just to
enjoy Sean's great design and the wonderful pots by Sheila and Tony. To
anyone, who has not visited, you have missed a real treat. Was even
interested in the discount for Clayarters....was that for real?
I am really looking forward to the video of Sheila making handles.
I am sure that it will be wonderful, bells, whistles and all. It is very
generous of Sheila to take the time to do this for us poor folk, who have
not mastered the intricacies of manipulating cane, vines, and such.
Something to look forward to in the year to come.
All the best.
