as part of my job as a Capt on the Chattanooga Ducks i would talk for a hour
about the local History. Each of us, the Captains, talked about the same
thing and also the things that they liked. Well right down Broad Street we
have some neat old buildings that have a ceramic tile exterior. One of the
buildings has all kinds of fruit and leaves. Boy, would i love to find the
molds for them. The Buildings were built during the thirty's.They are on the
Historical Register.
Of course i would talk about the ceramics, firing and the durabilty of
ceramics. We also worked for tips , so it had to be a good talk.
