I think that's what my new Geil is lined with; it's rolled much flatter
.... not puffy ... than the fiber in my older Geil. I sprayed it with
ITC, anyway, except for the ceiling which looks brand new after all
sorts of operator/owner abuse. I may not have needed the ITC in this
case, but it had worked so well on the electric Cress and the smaller
Geil that I didn't want to take any chances.

There is no such thing...the new lung soluble fiber, Isofrax can still be
very irritating to your lungs, throat, and skin. Under studies, it just
dissolves in your lungs over time preventing "plagues" from forming. This
applies to installation only! All fiber that is repeatedly exposed to 1850F +
developes cristobalite (a form of free silica). So, even the new "safer"
fiber (and it is safer) should be torn out of kilns with the appropriate
cautions.
