And Hank in Eugene replies, "Try Clay House on Santa Monica Boulevard just
west of Bundy. Cheers".

Hi,
The clayhouse is still there, on Santa Monica Blvd., corner of SMB and
Yale (I think). There is also PeachTree Pottery in West LA, on Venice -
the website for them is peachtreepottery.com and there is also Vessel
Studio in Culver City...their website is vesselstudiogallery.com. Only
bought clay at The Clayhouse.. did some bisque and glaze firing at
Peachtree and Vessel. Recommend both. Also there is Santa Monica
College, they have great pottery/ceramic classes. Good luck to your son.

Check to see if The Clayhouse still exists,
in Santa Monica, on Santa Monica Blvd.
It used to be owned and operated by Kenneth Catbaggan,
the originator of kenji porcelain.
Don't know who owns it now, or if it exists.
Perhaps call the So Cal Design Chapter of the American Society
for locations/names.

Hi,
Couldn't find the original post, so I'm piggybacking!
The Potter's Studio on Pontius in West LA is also still operating I
believe. Classes and studio potter fees available when I was there in
the 80's. They had three downdrafts; hope they've been rebuilt, cause'
they were aging back then.
