potters' guilds - suggestions for a new guild?

We have recently formed a potters' guild on southern Vancouver Island. =
We meet monthly in a church hall and have had one gallery show of =
members' work. Our main purpose at present is to get together for =
support and information. Most of our members have their own studios and =
are involved in their own or group sales. For that reason, the guild has =
not put "sales" on their priority list although we may do so in the =
future.=20
I would be very interested to hear about other guilds....what activities =
you sponsor or get involved in, what programs you have at your meetings, =
etc.=20
TIA

betty,

all i can suggest is that you look into and contact the southern highland
craft guild. i became a member this year and have found it to be a wonderful
org. it has four retail galleries,does two craft shows annually, and hosts
many other things. they have a web site just punch in a search with their
name and it will pop up.
