I have not read the entire thread, but for what this may be worth for =
your work,
I have recently tested some ball crawls and such and before I post all =
the results, here are my preliminary findings.
I took "any glaze" in powdered form (I used both a commercial matt white =
and a gloss transparent, to get rid of this stuff)=20
and did line blends with magnesium carb. as follows:
a la Ababy's suggestions:
To 100 grams glaze I added
10%, 20,. 30. 40 and 50% magnesium carb.
They all balled and crawled, more balling, especially those over the =
30%. I did not see a huge difference after 30%.
I also mixed Lana Turner's Ball Crawl,
60 Neph Syue
22 Magnesium carb.
18 Ball Clay
and it also bucked up and had a very messed up surface. =20
I do not know if this is fault or effect,
but I could really think about using them on areas of my bigger pots.
