The C.A.C. is a "DOWNTOWN" Gallery, and Arts 'Collective'.
I am a friend of the Organisation, and they are looking for Artists to
submit Proposals for doing 'Shows' in their Gallery Space.
They also want 'Out-of-State' Artists to have some Shows here.

Contemporary Arts Collective
Call for Proposals 2001-2002 Gallery Season
A non-profit, artist-run organization, the Contemporary Arts Collective
(CAC) supports an 800-sq. ft. gallery in the Arts Factory in Las Vegas,
Nevada.
The CAC seeks to give visibility to the local arts community in Las Vegas
by providing opportunities for artists to share contemporary ideas through
the presentation of quality contemporary art exhibitions and events.
CAC gives priority to group exhibitions, but will consider one or two solo
shows this season. In addition, the CAC will consider proposals for several
shorter, impromptu exhibitions/events that will take place between major
shows.
Curators are expected to submit a unified show.
Southern Nevada artists are encouraged to apply.
Quality and relevance of proposed exhibitions are primary concerns.
CAC provides: gallery space, personnel to attend gallery, invitations,
local mailing, publicity, insurance coverage for work(s) in the gallery for
the duration of the exhibit and an opening reception. Curator is
responsible for arrangement of delivery and pickup of artwork and any
additional exhibition costs.
SUBMIT:
1. A concise statement, no more than one page, describing the proposed
exhibition.
2. List participating artists, resumes and ten labeled slides from each
artist.
