I'm impressed, too, and would love to see him work.
Finally, a stoneware potter who isn't afraid of COLOR.
This is the first Ceramics Monthly cover that has really
grabbed me since, let's see, I guess since we got to
see Mel at work.
I still prefer potters working, or natural-looking groups
of pots on the cover, rather than the recent trend of
a staged shot of a ceramic piece on a seamless background.
