I am just doing the major annual overhaul of the Potfest site and I'm
looking for a Visitors / guestbook for people to sign so that they can
leave their comments about the site - can anyone suggest one that's
relatively tasteful and advert-free?

beseen offers many good little things like guest books, and bulletin boards,
at no fee and not a huge ugly banner that you have to recepricate with.... i

Hi Marie
Took up your recommendation and installed the Beseen one - I
think! I'm not sure if people really use them but time will tell. After
our flying visit to Milsbeek we just made it back home in time to repack
and leave for our month in Japan - it was truly awesome. We stayed with
a potter and his family for the whole time. They looked after us so well
- it was quite humbling. The real joy was escaping our phone, emails and
fax for a month, and getting back to producing work. We were on a tight
deadline, as our host had arranged an exhibition of our work for the
start of our last week there. So the day after arriving we were straight
into the workshop, trying out strange clays and glazes, and feeling very
overwhelmed. It all turned out OK in the end, the work was well received
and we made enough to pay for the complete trip. PHEW! We'd love to go
back - for a holiday, and see some more of Japan. Since we got back it
hasn't stopped raining, and now we're inundated with all the Potfest
applications, and it's my time for the website overhaul, so every day I
think longingly of Japan. Hope all is well with you
