I have never experienced this problem before, but recently some of my =
thrown knobs on my lids have cracked around their base, where the knob =
meets the lid. They are thrown from the center of the clay, not =
attached. What could I be doing? It is just one small crack around the =
circumfrence of the knob and they are not loose or falling off. thanks =

Hi Gary try piercing the knob from inside the lid with a needle tool ..
I"m not really sure how deep you need to go to have it work but give that
a try ... it solved any cracks I had... cat
