This past summer, I was at Arrowmont and took a course from Matthew Metz and
Linda Sikora. They showed this video of a man running a massive pottery. It
looked to be a video from the 1940's. I was wondering if there is anyone out
there with a copy. I would love to have a copy made to show to my high
school students

Ditto! I saw the subject video at a Jeff Oestreich workshop in Santa Fe a
few years ago. Would love to have it.

Back in the 1970s, I think 1977, I attended a film weekend run by the CPA at
York University. They had two cinemas and films running the entire weekend
with archive footage showing Issac Button, Bernard Leach and all the great
potters from around the world who have ever been caught by camera. The only
problem was choosing what to watch and what to miss, it was an unforgettable
experience. I believe most of the films belonged to Robert Fournier. I only
wish such a festival could happen again, I would fly round the world to be
there.
Carenza.
