Having just completed one of my periodic searches for warm weather in
December, I want to remind people that the exhibition of the works of T.
Shimaoka is still going on (until February 4, 2001). The collection is
great. There is a video presentation that was quite interesting and worth
the time to view.
I purchased the exhibition catalogue (US$39.95) which was well
photographed. I also found that photography was allowed if you did not use
flash. I was able to set my digital camera to get nearly true color, so
was quite happy to be able to make my own pics, especially when I found
that I could shoot the side of the pot opposite to the one in the catalogue.
