Turn your pots upside down and pat the bottoms til they bow in slightly.
This will also help release tension and prevent cracking.
If the pots get a bit too firm before you can do it, you'll have to spank
them a bit.
Pottery is so violent! Pinching, scratching, throwing, burning, cutting,
pulling, etc. You should have to be over 18 and a consenting adult to
practice it.
