Thank you for those who reply my mail.

My problem now is I can't find the plaster I need here in Malaysia, but
since I am doing slumping, I was thinking of lying a piece of fibre on a
bisque bowl/plate, and put the window glass on it, do you think it will
work?

Marianne, please tell me the tempereture to do slumping with window glass
and glass bottle. I am asking the book shop here to find me the book you
mention, hope they can find it.

Thank you

It depends on the thickness of the glass but around 600C is a good starting
point. Ideally you should start "peeking" into the kiln to see when the
glass starts bending - be sure to wear some eye protection, its pretty bright
inside. Take care - I managed to singe my fringe and eyebrows in the
excitement of it all.
We sometimes used metal woks and bowls as moulds which we painted with batt
wash for slumping (good quality solid ones that can take the heat.) You
could try this in the absence of plaster. I suggest that you cut your glass
a fraction smaller than the diameter of the mould to stop it catching on the
rim when the glass softens enough to start slumping.
Have fun,
Marianne, in the South of France where the sun has finally come back after a
long absence.
