The 92ndsty in New York City is happy to offer a
Five day workshop with Sarah Jaeger .

Event/Course: Everyday Porcelain: Utility & Extravagance

Workshop Description:

Discover how to integrate utility and extravagance
into functional work by exploring form and
surface decoration of porcelain pots.
Bring bisqueware to he first class to glaze,
decorate and fire during the workshop.
Spend the rest of the week working on two forms
a lidded pouring vessel (teapot/coffeepot),
and an open serving dish combining thrown
and hand-built parts. Discussions,
demonstrations and slide lectures will
round out the workshop.

Sarah Jaeger is a studio potter in
Helena, Montana. She graduated from
Harvard and the Kansas City Art Institute.
She has been a resident of the
Archie Bray Foundation and currently
serves on its board and teaches,
lectures and shows her work nationally.
