The 92ndsty in New York City is happy to offer a
two day Hands On workshop with Makato Yabe.
Workshop Description:
Celebrated potter Makoto Yabe demonstrates traditional and non-traditional
Japanese techniques of hand-building and working on the wheel. Learn about
the use of slips, brushwork and colored clay techniques including Nerikomi
and Neriage to expand your pot-making vocabulary.

Cost: 2 sessions $175,
Makato Yabe studied in Tokyo, Japan. He teaches at Harvard University's
DeCordova Museum School and the School of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
