The California energy crisis has an effect on lots more people than =
those in California.

This demand for natural gas goes right back to the gas & oil fields in =
Northeastern British Columbia. Due to NAFTA and the North American =
trading arrangements, the gas coming from our own fields is now 30% =
higher in price to our local users in British Columbia than it was two =
years ago.
Because of the demand from California, and the fact that we can not deny =
them supplies, the price of natural gas will keep reaching upwards for =
the foreseeable future. These price increases affect all our Canadian =
people from coast to coast and will not abate very soon. The next big =
question is, "How long will the gas supplies last and then what?"
Think about it!!
