diagrams of glaze fountain and spray booth

Hello, Everybody.

My dad recently blessed me with a new spray booth, built partially from a
diagram someone on Clayart directed me to. Well, okay, I helped, but he's
got all the cool tools and all the experience. I mostly held boards and
screwed in screws and stuff.

Anyway, it's working great, and if any of you would like to have a couple of
photo-diagrams I worked up in Paint Shop, I'll be happy to e-mail them to
you. I don't have hard copies, because I'm having trouble with my printer
just now. I plan to post them to my web site eventually, but maybe not too
soon, as I may write an article for Clay Times first.

I also put together a glaze fountain from diagrams another clayarter kindly
mailed to me. Mine is a bit different from his, as yours will probably end
up being different from mine, but when you're working with PVC pipe and
fittings, heck--you can play all you like.

So, if you'd like a photo or two of the glaze fountain, let me know. Again,
it's got to go via e-mail, for the same reasons.

Hi there.

I ended up putting a cap on the overflow pipe, but would still include the
pipe, as it allows me to use the pump to transfer glaze from my storage
bucket to a larger glazing bucket. A wider bucket than the normal 5 gallon
pail is needed to catch the overflow when using the fountain to glaze.
