handles and the vinegar trick

Sorry to hear that happened

Do I recall an old adage, "If it aint broke, don't fix it"

Yes, every one seems to be aware that in an emergency, using vinegar as =
an instant adhesive will work. But the problem is that the technical =
reasons and the science are not explained. We know how, but not why. So =
who is going to explain this one. Why does it work? and why did it fail?

Perhaps it can be a mistake to accept information in good faith without =
testing it in new situations first.

I hope you recover from this trauma and get god quality work from the =
next batch, following your usual procedure.
