I have accidentally fired pieces with raku glaze on them in an electric kiln.
The results were quite ugly. As far as regular low fire glazes in a raku
kiln goes, I have tried raku firing a red commercial glaze as well as a
glossy turquoise glaze in a raku kiln and got some interesting results.

Dear Mark & Rosie Barris,

I have tried some of Georgies Clay raku glazes in my
electric kiln without the Raku reduction afterwards.
Georgies clay is in Portland Oregon. Their # is
503-283-1353 or 800-999-CLAY. Some of their Raku
glazes are uneventful when fired electric only, but I
happened to try layering a thin to medium coat of
Amaco #SP10 clear (Sheffield Pottery has it:
888-SPI-CLAY) and many other suppliers too I am sure.
The results are wonderful! I fire at Cone 05 and have
used both low fire white and Terra Cotta clays. I get
mottled colors, some glossy, some satin. I love the
variation and the beauty of the colors and textures.
A few of my favorites are SP-10 over Alligator Raku (a
neat satin green with a little alligator texture to
it, SP-10 over Blue Dolphin (a lovely varied blue
with a satin surface, SP-10 over Michigan Patina. I
have used these combinations repeatedly and I find
them very dependable. Georgies offers a 4 oz(of each
color) set of samples of all their Raku glazes for
around $35. I hav had great fun experimenting with
them. I hope this may help you! Have fun!
