One of my former teachers is building an Anagama kiln. Are there any others
in Georgia. My students have asked this question 14 times and I feel that my
"I don't know" is not satisfying!

Thanks for the info, anyone and all!

Diane,

There is an anagama kiln at the Hambidge Center in Dillard, Georgia. It
was built by Ben Owen, III several years ago. It is fired periodically,
usually by a resident artist. You could call the center and ask them to
put you on a list of folks interested in participating in a firing.

Diane, I've been told that the ceramics instructor in Macon has built a small anagama kiln. I'm wanting to build one myself. Where in Georgia are you? Jim in Athens
