Hi All!
I recall reading about this but can't find anything in the archives.
Does anyone have a source for a fireproofing material which could be used to
fireproof table drapes to make them comply with fire codes? Thanks in
advance for any help!

Hi Dave,
Here's a fireproofing spray that was posted on this list some eons ago, in
response to a question very similar to yours:
6 parts borax
5 parts boric acid (drugstores usually carry this)
100-150 parts warm water
soak or spray (spray is probably better)
from Claudia Hayward(?) (posted on Clayart, 5 Nov 1996)
Claudia also mentioned a commercial product called Firesafe that could be
used.
Hope this helps,

Hi Dave,
To add to your list, there is a product called Fireguard that is sold by
Dealer's Supply in Matawan, NJ (800-524-0576). $32 oz is $20 + S/H.
They also carry other display equipment for booths and displays of
various kinds.
