Linda,
If you wind up listing your house
would you let us know if pictures
are on the realtor's web site?
I would love to see the architectural
ceramics you put in the rooms.
The house sounds beautiful with an idyllic setting.
Sounds to me like you are selling too cheaply!
A house like yours here on Bainbridge Island WA
would go for mega bucks.
Good luck with your sale.

Terry just asked me about my square foot kiln.... I was thinking in tile
language here. It is at least 10 cubic feet not square feet. He also
reminded me that I have a 900 square foot two car garage. There is also a
greenhouse and nice garden storage shed that is 10' x 14' and lots of
gardens. It will be listed somewhere between $130,000 and $140,000.

Dear Friends,

It is finally official. I am going to be selling my house and studio and =
moving to southern California to start a shared life, personal and work, =
with Terry Sullivan at the Nottingham Center for the Arts. Yes, he is =
going to take me complete with three dogs and two cats. Luckily he =
loves animals too. The center will be well guarded. =20

I will be selling my home which over the last ten years has been =
renovated and decorated with architectural ceramics in every room. It =
will be listed with a realtor in March but I wanted to put this out to =
the list in case anyone has been thinking of moving to upstate New York. =
The house is a three bedroom, 11 rooms, (used to be 13 before walls were =
removed) 100 year old house which is completely renovated with =
architectural ceramics in every room and around every one of the 35 =
windows. It has been insulated and all the walls done in stucco. There =
is a 900 square foot studio with a 10 x 14 kiln room that has a 10 sq. =
ft downdraft kiln and a Skutt 1227 with controller. There are 12.5 =
acres of woods. =20

Ithaca is a unique town, at the tip of Cayuga Lake, that still has a =
downtown, the influence of Cornell University, Moosewood Restaurant, and =
just a whole lot of alternative people, healers, natural food stores, =
and old hippies. It is geographically beautiful with many waterfalls =
and gorges - four main waterfalls within the city limits and many more =
close by. I live in a valley surrounded by farms about 7 miles from =
town.

This has been a wonderful place to live and work, complete with good =
friends which seem to be everywhere in Ithaca. It sometimes seemed =
almost too good to be real - this little island in the upstate area. If =
you have ever heard the poem "Ithaca" you will have a sense of what I =
mean. There could only be one thing worth all that this has been to me =
and more and that is the love and connection with another person. =
Having found this in Terry, there is no doubt which is more important. =
So I agree with Paul Lewing, true love is rare. Indeed it is. I hope =
to see some of you in North Carolina and if anyone is dying to live in =
upstate New York, email me!
