Bob Hamm on sun 7 jan 01

I have two announcements. The first about my web site, the second about the
upcoming Kelowna Clay Festival.

With a lot of help from my daughter, who knows what she is doing, and
considerable bumbling by me, who did not, I've managed to finally get my web
site up and running. You are all invited to view it at www.bobhamm-art.com .
My goal with this intial web site is to create an electronic brochure.
After spending yesterday fixing a never- ending list of mistakes, I'm
hoping, with crossed fingers, that it will work properly. I would appreciate
some
feedback if something is amiss or just plain screwed up.

The Kelowna Clay Festival is a reality!

I have added a page to my web site at www.bobhamm-art.com/clayfest with the
details of this event. With the exception of a couple of pieces of
information we are waiting for, and expect to have this week, I hope the
information provided will properly inform prospective participants. If we
missed something or you have questions we haven't thought to provide an
answer to, please let me know. This is the first clay festival we have
organized and I would be surprised if we did not miss something. Hopefully
only small, relatively unimportant details.

Just a few details about the Kelowna Clay Festival 2001

Dates: August 24, 25, and 26 of 2001.
Location: Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

Clayworkers will be the focus of the first two days, with a series of
demostrations by a great line-up of dynamic presenters. The presenters will
be Rachelle Chinnery, Robin Hopper, Gordon Hutchens, Bob Kingsmill, Elaine
Brewer-White, and Randy Brodnax. Please check the web site for more
information on the workshops.

The third day will be a Family Fun Day with demonstrations and hands-on mini
workshops; free to the general public. This is the day we have set aside to
promote clay arts to the general public.

I will let you get the rest of the details from the web site.

Thank you.
