I've been fearing the day ( cost / chore ) of changing the elements in my
kiln.

Mel has me convinced that ITC is the way to go when changing elements.
I was wondering if some of you would share your experiences that you've had
with supplies or new elements and ITC? I'm interested in finding which
companies offered the best service at a reasonable price.

Jeff

looking forward to a week of fishing in the gulf later this month, and a
week away from another typical unpredictable central illinois winter.

my previous post got away from me before I proofread it well.... I didn't
mean I wanted anyone to share their stash of ITC and elements,,, but it kind
of sounded that way with the typo's.

Hi Jeff,
I would say Euclids for the elements. I picked up all of the elements for
my little 23x27 kiln for
a great price, almost 1/3 to 1/4 less than if I bought them from a local
supply store. Applying
the ITC213 was a little messy, but make sure you have ample newspaper to
cover your work area
and have a way to hang your elements to dry...nails or screws to a truss. I
found it easier to bend
the last three inches of the element to hang off the nail.
