Also of note ... it is cheaper & easier to fly into GREENSBORO, NC & about a
2 hour drive from Charlotte. GSO/Greensboro is a very nice small airport.

I do not know if there are any better deals but flying into Columbia, SC (CAE
AIRPORT ABBREVIATION) and it is a straight freeway shot on good highway or go
scenic on lesser roads. The distance isn't much different from Raleigh and
the airport is nice here.
