The 3rd annual TEXAS CLAY ARTS ASSOCIATION will be in Houston Texas next
month. You are invited to attend the reception at HOUSTON POTTERS GUILD SHOP
& GALLERY, 2433 Rice Blvd (713-528-7687) which will be held on February 17
from 11am till 4pm. Refreshments will be served & we need your participation
in the People's Choice award voting.
This year three cash prizes will be awarded: $100 Best of Show, donated by
SALT GRASS POTTERS, $100 People's Choice award, dontated by POTTER'S PLACE in
Sugar Land & $75 Second Place award, donated by the local Houston area
chapter of TCAA. Betty Plifka of the College of the Mainland will serve as
judge at the show.
This is a member's show and the late entry date is January 15, so you still
have time to enter a piece. TCAA members from all over Texas have submitted
pieces for the show & it should be GREAT, please mark your calendars & plan
on joining us.
