actually, Sam is alive and well in Sacramento, CA. You'll be happy to hear
that he does still work in clay, had a show in San Francisco last year.
But, he has been spending a lot of time teaching. He teaches ceramics at
the prison where I teach drawing and also teaches ceramics at another
prison. In addition, he puts in time working for the Sacramento
Metropolitan Arts Commission in the Arts Education dept.
He's a great guy and a wonderful artist!
