altoids, salt and malaise in general

Every Sunday morning, after the choir (of which I am a member) sings =
their anthem or special, a dear little lady who always sits to my left, =
slips a little tin out of her pocket and offers me an Altoid. Very =
discretely. Peppermint, extremely strong peppermint. I prefer =
wintergreen. But I always take it. Makes me feel special, being offered =
this small gift. Our little secret.=20

My son in law, the chef, agrees that the reason he uses Kosher salt is =
because it taste better than table salt. But he says the main reason is =
that he is not as apt to oversalt a dish using the larger grains.

And....

I too have been suffering from the "can't help its" ( a term my mother =
is fond of using) since Christmas. I have asked myself many of the =
questions you all have expressed here on Clayart. I was much relieved =
to see that I am not the only person who can't get revved up again. I =
suppose misery does love company. We have been experiencing some =
unusually cold weather for our area and I think that has had a great =
effect on me. I love winter but I yearn for spring. I received a call =
from the local Fine Arts Committee, inviting me to participate in an =
upcoming show. I can't even get motivated for that.
My nephew has a term he uses if you ask him how he feels when he is =
sick....

Glock (rhymes with clock, but drawn out, like glaaaaaaaccck).
That's how I feel. glock!

Sheron in NC
(staring blankly at 25 pounds of craggy crunch clay sitting on the =
kitchen table)(cause the studio is too cold and I am too glock to start =
a fire in the wood stove)
I think I shall go into hibernation

Man, ain't it the truth! I couldn't get motivated if I bought it at
Walmart, and I even have some orders hanging over my head! This is a real
pisser........
