Steven Branfman Raku Workshop

Steven will demonstrate a variety of throwing methods including throwing
off the hump, throwing large forms, coil and throw and large platter
forms. Also texturing and surface manipulation using various tools and
objects, and inlaying colored glass. Claybodies and materials will be
discussed and recipes are shared.
Steven is the founder and director of The Potters Shop and School in
Needham, Mass. He has authored 2 books: Raku: A Practical Approach,
and the Potter=92s Professional Handbook as well as many articles on raku=
,
the business of pottery and studio management. =
