Ivor Lewis wrote "Bowl Making" for Pottery Making Illustrated; Vol 1, Number
3, Summer 1998. What a wonderful article. It changed the way I throw
everything, not just bowls. Ivor says the methods he describes in the
article are based on those of Micheal Cardew. The method was very different
from the one I had been taught so I had to follow the article very very
closely. And it worked like a charm; inside and outside the bowls.
